Health Testing
Dot has passed all her health clearances. The only one not on OFA yet is her genetic test for SLEM. The OFA only accepts the test run through them, and it’s pending. She’s free of the gene (both parents negative) so the test is a formality.
Always choose your puppy from a litter whose parents have at least the minimum testing recommended by the OFA. There may be more tests that either aren’t on OFA (eg Brucellosis screen) or are above and beyond the minimum which your breeder does, either because of specific dog/pedigree risk, or just to be safe.
