Barn Hunt is a canine sport in which the dogs navigate a straw bale course to locate rats (kept protected in ventilated tubes).

Successful dogs alert on rats, but not rat litter, and navigate tunnels and climbs. 

For many dogs this is a way for them to use their natural drive to hunt in a safe, constructive, and fun game.
